If there isn’t anymore of a better time to be excited as a Disney fan for the Disney Parks just right around when the holidays are happening in which today delivered a early Christmas present towards Disney fans with some exciting and anticipating news at the Walt Disney World parks coming soon next year. Today at the D23: Destination D: Amazing Adventures at the Contemporary Resort with confirmation by Bob Chapek, Chairman of Walt Disney Parks & Resorts was proud to announce that guests will able to step inside of the blockbuster hit of James Cameron’s “Avatar” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom opening Summer 2017.
Chairman Chapek also shared that the scaffolding has been removed from the entry bridge that will connect towards the world of Pandora and rest of the park according towards the Disney Parks Blog. Here is the other details that were shared from the D23 event today:
“The entire Pandora – The World of Avatar land is set to open in 2017, and will transport guests to a visually stunning world complete with floating mountains and bioluminescent plants. Here, guests will be able to experience two excursions that will truly push adventure to the next level. First, the family friendly Na’vi River Journey will send guests down a sacred river hidden within a bioluminescent rainforest. Their journey will end in an unforgettable encounter with a Na’vi Shaman, a figure who has a deep connection to the life force of Pandora. And second, the Avatar Flight of Passage excursion will offer the jaw-dropping experience of riding on a Banshee over the world of Pandora.”

Pandora: The World of Avatar was announced at last year’s D23 Expo and since then it has come along for progress and updates.
