It’s a busy year for Walt Disney Imagineer and Senior Vice President, Joe Rodhe with the grand openings for Pandora: The World of Avatar and Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! set to open up on both coasts at the Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort on May 27th, 2017.
Today, in which Joe Rodhe explains of what the world of Pandora will emphasize the values and outcomes at Disney’s Animal Kingdom in partnership with James Cameron’s company of Lightstorm Entertainment will do for the park’s guests. The expansion in the park will be transporting and immersing guests into towards a extraterritorial and bioluminescent environment from cinema’s top grossing film of Avatar from 2009.
Joe Rodhe’s philosophy believes in his statement when guests come towards Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Pandora this coming May and how it will fit towards the design and theming of the park that:
“The themes in both the film AVATAR and the values the designers of Disney’s Animal Kingdom had in mind when planning the park are the same: Emphasizing the intrinsic value of nature; Exploring the idea that guests can be transformed through adventure; And inspiring guests to understand and respect the nature that exists in our world.”
