Miss Adventure Falls Opens This Month At Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon At The Walt Disney World Resort

The Walt Disney World Resort has officially announced today for a official opening date for there brand new family-raft style waterslide for “Miss Adventure Falls” (former name ” Miss Fortune Falls”) at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. The opening date will be this month on March 12th, 2017 and the announcement was made last year in which a new side was coming towards the waterpark.

This has been some quite amount of time since Typhoon Lagoon has received anything brand new in the past 10 years. The Disney Parks Blog mentions about Captain Mary Oceaneer and in which “we will give you an exclusive first look at some of the unique artifacts collected by Captain Mary Oceaneer – a sea-faring treasure hunter whose haul was caught in a rogue typhoon.

If your not familiar with the story of Captain Mary Oceaneer the story goes like this: “Mary got stranded at Typhoon Lagoon after a severe storm, and now guests can venture down this new family water slide and view her various treasures that she has collected, such as her dive bell.
