Universal Hollywood Welcomes Kung Fu Panda Attraction For The Replacement Of Shrek

Ever since Universal acquired the purchase of one of the biggest animation studios, of Dreamworks last year and it was only a question of when were going to see those beloved films in the Universal parks. Well today, in which Universal Studios Hollywood announced the smash hit of “Kung Fu Panda” will be taking over the current Shrek 4-D attraction as a all-brand new DreamWorks Theater attraction.

This will host the DreamWorks Animation attraction from the “Kung Fu Panda” trilogy and will be using multi-sensory attractions with state of the art mapping and LED lighting effects for a in-depth storytelling. Starting this summer, from memorable characters from the trilogy such as, Tigress, Alex the Lion, and the other Dreamworks property of “Madagscar” and those characters of the penguins, Skipper, Rico, Kowalski and Private.

Branch from “Trolls” and Puss ‘n Boots himself joining Shrek and Fiona as they roam the Universal Plaza, as interactive character meet and greets and photo opportunities for Universal’s guests. The mega popular, Japanese pop culture icon of Hello Kitty is also coming towards the park in 2018 to create exclusive-theme park merchandise featuring Hello Kitty and her friends of, My Melody, Keroppi, Chacoat, and more based off the franchise.

Hello Kitty & Co will include everything from accessories towards apparel and probably sweet snacks like Universal Orlando does for their Hello Kitty store and the new store will replace the Cartooniversal store inside of the park. A Hello Kitty character will be on-site and throughout the day as a meet and greet chance for guests to interact and take selfies and photos with.

Universal Hollywood’s Citywalk just received a complete overhaul including the brand new Voodoo Doughnuts store based from Portland, Oregon that features crazy ideas for a sugary snack. A major refurbishment of their Universal Cinemas which was big multi-million dollar renovation for where movies that are made on the studio for a state of the art viewing experience for fans to enjoy. The grand opening ceremony included, famous Director Steven Spielberg as he gave a dedication speech for where movie magic is made and developed on-site for the cinema.

Singer/Songwriter, Jimmy Buffet opened his next addition of a Margaritaville restaurant and bar for Universal’s Citywalk as guests can eat and relax to enjoy signature beverages as long it’s “5 o’clock somewhere” in the world.
