When the former Wet N’ Wild water park closed down last year on December 31st, 2016 in which it was a question of what going to replace the long running park since 1977. Universal Orlando purchased the property and later was confirmed for more hotel property developments by Universal but, the details were low-key of what kind of hotels that they would be.
Well today in which Universal Orlando confirmed two more new brand hotels are coming towards the resort with these exciting details. First off the biggest detail that Universal announced is the price in which nightly rates will be LESS then $100! Staying anywhere on a on-site Universal Orlando Resort hotel will come with its benefits and also early park admission towards Universal’s three theme parks, free transportation across the resort, and resort-wide charging privileges are included.
The location will be located at the intersection of Universal Boulevard and International Drive and this will become Universal’s seventh and eighth hotels of where the former Wet N’ Wild water park was.

The teams for Universal Creative are drawing up these two new hotels that brought you the same experiences like Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort, Universal’s newest upcoming hotel of Aventura Hotel as some examples and will be seamless experiences and nightly rates below those two on-site resorts as mention.
“This new hotel complex will be a destination unto itself. Guests will enjoy the sun, surf and sand with a laid-back coastal feel. Vibrant and natural colors will set a free-spirited and beachy tone, inviting you to hang loose and enjoy your family vacation. Not to mention three pools, poolside bars, two food courts, coffee bars and fitness centers, just to name a few of the amenities.”
No names have been officially confirmed for these two new hotels but, these are so far of the two separate hotels for Universal’s strategy plan of all the land property that they have been buying up recently. The total of guest rooms will be up towards 9,000 with the combination of Universal’s Aventura Hotel that will be up towards 600 guest-rooms that is slated to be open in August 2018.
The two new hotels will have a total of 2,800 guest-rooms and they will be split between Universal Boulevard with 2,050 rooms on one side for first of the new hotel resorts and the second will be a total of 750 rooms on the other side.
