As Disney Springs at Walt Disney World continues to grow and evolve as of recently of where the news was shared of Mars Retail Group is relocating the World of M&M’s store from the Florida Mall towards the West Side of Disney Springs that is schedule to open up on later this year at some point.
Mars Retail Group shared within a press release today and revealed new concept art for the upcoming Disney Springs store and the M&M’s store will “celebrate the culture and spirit of the local community both in design and merchandise.”
M&M’s stores presently located at Mall of America, New York City, and in early 2021 in Berlin, Germany and more around the world will include the classic M&M’s displays like the Wall of Chocolate, characters and a customization experience in where guests can make their own M&M’s to take home. The new stores, will have interactive features designed to engage and share.
“Our aspiration will always be to bring the best of the M&M’s Brand experience to our consumers in each retail location,” said Patrick McIntyre, director of global retail at Mars Retail Group. “Our new stores are advancing in design and experience to create a true connection and commitment to place alongside exciting digital and analog moments. We are bringing the brand to life in an immersive way.”
Construction for the Disney Springs store is expected to start imminent with the grand opening still to be announced.
