After years of being vacant and through the tsunami of announcements, as fellow runDisney fans were pleased to know that the events are officially coming back to Disneyland Resort in 2024! Last time they were held were way back in 2017 for the construction of both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Disney Parks Chairman, Josh D’Amaro didn’t specify for the certain types of events and just confirmed for it’s long over due return.
RunDisney events are fun, athletic and entertainment as well. Fellow runners go all Disney Parks globally. Each event is a different theme and takes them by surprises for the certain ones guests wanna do. From everything towards the kids, full marathons, Disney characters and very decorative finisher medals at the end.
Disneyland Paris and Walt Disney World have been hosting the majority of the events. However, runners could participate wherever they want and can do Virtual events hosted by runDisney. Disneyland hasn’t had them since that year back in 2017.
