“The Exorcist”Will Be Officially Joining The Halloween Horror Nights Line Up At Universal

Get your holy water, crosses, and bibles out as Universal officially announced this morning as the classic and original 1973 film by director William Friedkin’s The Exorcist will be joining Universal Parks in Orlando and Hollywood. Personally I have never attended a Halloween Horror Nights event in my past travels in going to Universal Orlando but, how of much in depth this film is a horror classic I am sure this scare and freak out guests when doing this maze. Here’s what announced from the official press release by Universal (Comcast/NBC):

“At Universal Orlando Resort, guests will see, hear, feel – and even smell – every iconic levitating, head-spinning, vomit-wrenching, skin-crawling moment from the film. They’ll be paralyzed with fear as they witness the power of the supernatural, scream uncontrollably as they become part of Regan MacNeil’s possession and run in terror as they try to escape the horrific battle between innocence and evil.

Universal Studios Hollywood’s “The Exorcist” maze will resonate as a real life interpretation of the demonic film, daring “Halloween Horror Nights”guests to live the nightmare experienced by a tortured Regan and her determined mother. The maze will recreate some of the film’s most haunting scenes, ushering guests into its unparalleled terror as if their very souls were possessed by the devil.”

Also joining the line up was the previously announced of, the original 1974 The Texas Chainsaw Massacre by director Tobe Hooper for Universal Orlando for being first house to be announced. Be sure to follow for more spooky and terrifying goodness and all Halloween Horror Nights news, over at SkywalkingAdventure.
