The highly anticipated Pandora expansion from director James Cameron’s 2009 “Avatar” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is currently to open up somewhat next year in 2017. According towards io9, a panel of D23 Destination D: Amazing Adventures will be taking place of a two-day event on November 19th and November 20th, 2016 at the Contemporary Resort in Walt Disney World. This panel discussion will include director James Cameron, producer Jon Landau, Imagineer Joe Rohde & many more panelists to talk about more about the immersive world of Pandora of the 12-acre expansion.

This event is only open towards D23 Fan Club members like myself who is a gold member and tickets and more information can be founded on D23’s Official Site here. The Pandora expansion was discussed at last year’s D23 Fan Expo in Anaheim, California for some details of the expansion concept but not a whole lot. For now all we can do is wait till November for those new details and my blog will provide you guys updates as the Pandora expansion progresses.
