“Rope Drop” or a common term used by many Disney fans in the community meaning that, of getting their when the park first opens up bright and early to start your day off. Announced yesterday on the Disney Parks Blog that starting upcoming January 9th, 2017 will allow there resort’s guests of a new way and getting in earlier into Main Street USA then before the park’s normal opening scheduled times.
“Then promptly at opening, a new welcome show will officially open the park for the day on the Castle Forecourt Stage. A Royal Herald will appear to deliver a proclamation and welcome a few familiar characters to the stage, officially opening the park so “the magic can begin!” The name of the new show hasn’t been announced yet but, will begin when the park opens up at the given time.
The Walt Disney World Railroad will be down for refurbishment from mid January-mid March 2017 according towards the Orlando Sentinel and to be announced on the official Walt Disney World site of when it’s completed. No official date has been confirmed of when it will be at.
