Well what a conquincidence in which today the Disney Parks Blog has officially announced a opening date for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! at Disney California Adventure on May 27th, 2017. Which will be the same day as Pandora: The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort and also two days after the grand opening for Volcano Bay at Universal Orlando Resort. That week is going be filled with a ton of theme park goodness this summer!
Anyways this summer fellow recruits can join forces with other super heroes to experience the exciting opening for the new attraction at Disney California Adventure just to be around the time for the film’s sequel release for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Recruits can join one of the members from the Guardians with Rocket, to help his pals out bust out from the Collector’s Fortress with randomized drop sequences, visual effects, and of course with Awesome Mix Vol 2.
For this limited time celebration from May 27th-September 10th, 2017 in being called “Summer of Heroes” as you join your fellow and favorite Guardians of The Galaxy and The Avengers for this epic experience for you recruit to try out from the following:
–Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Dance Off!: Don’t be surprised if you run into the Guardians of the Galaxy on their way to the Milano, with Star-Lord firing up his old-school boom box to get the party started. Gamora may prefer to stand back and observe, but everyone else is bound to get in the groove and show off their moves during this awesome rock ‘n’ roll bash!
-Super Hero Encounters: For the first time, citizens of Earth will come face-to-face with Groot, one of the Guardians of the Galaxy! You can also step up to meet the First Avenger, Captain America, along with everyone’s favorite web slinger, your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
If your feeling heroic and brave enough to step up towards these challenges during the limited time event of Summer of Heroes:
-Avengers Training Initiative: Black Widow and Hawkeye assemble young recruits for a series of tests to see if they have what it takes to join the ranks of the Avengers.
-Heroic Encounter: Black Widow: Black Widow will arrive on the scene several times throughout the day in an armored Avengers vehicle for her heroic encounter with park guests.
-Grab a Piece (or Bite) of the Action: All that heroism making you hungry? Want a token as proof of your adventures when you get home? Special themed merchandise and food will be available throughout Hollywood Land.
This summer also celebrates the return at the Disneyland Resort with classic attractions of the Disneyland Railroad, Rivers of America, the nighttime spectacular of “Fantasmic!” and opening dates TBA over at the Disney Parks Blog. The return of the Main Street Electrical Light Parade will be also available for it’s limited return till June 18th, 2017.
Your adventure through the comics and defending the galaxy with the fellow Guardians and The Avengers begins this summer for a action packed filled with fun and epic-exciting experiences.
