Minnie Vans At The Walt Disney World Resort Deploys Full Service With Lyft

It’s been a couple weeks now since this year’s D23 Expo has come and gone and with the official announcement with Disney’s brand new transportation service called “Minnie Vans”. The Minnie Vans service are the 2017 Chevy Traverse models that will carry any on-resort guests anywhere on Disney property. The service was complimentary free last week as a trial period for guests and which today, that Disney officially launched it’s service for a $20 dollar rate.

The collaboration with the other popular service for Lyft that guests can download on their smartphones and guests that can access and can be picked for these selected resorts for Disney’s Boardwalk and Yacht & Beach Club. Disney didn’t specify yet or when the service will expand towards other resorts for guests to use the Minnie Van service or when it will be rolled out. The Minnie Van service has two different kinds of vans for guests who are not disabled for the regular sized van that holds up towards 6 people. The other model of van is a bigger kind of van that holds up for guests with disabilities and wheel chair access which a Ford model, not a Chevy model.

“Through a collaboration with the US’ fastest growing rideshare service, Lyft, guests at these resorts can arrange their own private Disney vehicle right from the Lyft app on their smartphone. With Minnie Van service, Disney cast members will then whisk you away to wherever you want to be at Walt Disney World Resort. This service accommodates up to six guests and provides two versatile car seats so even the tiniest of passengers can travel in style!”
