The Halloween season officially kicked off for fans who attended the Midsummer Scream con at the Long Beach Convention Center this past weekend and were treated of the some best industry and local haunts in the business. Universal Studios Hollywood for their uber-popular event for Halloween Horror Nights in which was a packed house for fans who attended the panel yesterday evening. Fans of event got see some “behind the screams” for this year’s event for “The Shining“, Ash vs. Evil Dead, and concept art for original scare zones with Creative Director/Executive Producer, John Murdy and Creative Art Director, Chris Williams.
One of the big announcements that Creative Director, John Murdy and Creative Art Director, Chris Williams announced in which that, the RIP Tours are coming back towards Universal Studios Hollywood and have been absence from the event since 2014. “The experience offered unlimited Front of Line access to all mazes and rides, Private VIP Horror Lounge, that included an exclusive Scare Zone, DJ, drinks and dinner, a VIP guide escort to Terror Tram and several mazes, Valet parking and an exclusive VIP Entrance.”
Universal Orlando Resort offers the same exact experience for the VIP treatment expect they don’t have the terror tram experience versus what Hollywood offers. Hollywood doesn’t also offer the “Scare Actor-Dining Experience” like Orlando does from their past events for Halloween Horror Nights.
Murdy and Williams did confirm in which front of the line with general admission, frequent fear, and the RIP Tours will officially go on sale for tomorrow for Tuesday, August, 1st 2017. The RIP Tours experience will also allow unlimited access towards all the mazes and for when the event is for on selected nights. The panel didn’t confirm any new maze announcements but, inner guesses in which a possible announcement will be this coming Thursday, August 3rd, 2017.
