Epcot International Festival Of The Holidays To Be Celebrated This Holiday Season At Walt Disney World

Introduced last year for one of Walt Disney World’s most visited theme parks for Epcot and for their festival of the “Holidays Around The World” that starts up after when the International Food & Wine Festival wraps up, to enjoy different cultures and cuisines around from across the world. Epcot’s Holidays Around the World that starts up this year on November 19th and running till December 30th around the World Showcase of the holiday traditions from 11 different countries in the showcase.

One of Epcot’s most beloved and traditional holiday favorites of the Candlelight Processional is staple at the International Festival of the Holidays this season.  

This also includes the long annual and traditional Candlelight Processional, seasonal cuisines and beverages at the Holiday Kitchens, and family fun-filled activities for families to enjoy and see performers in their holiday-traditional outfits to come to life.

Brand new for this year will be a scavenger hunt, entitled “Chip & Dale’s Christmas Tree Spree,” in which guests can help the duo out find ornaments for their Christmas tree. Maps can be purchased for $6.99 plus tax at the Pin Central and World Traveler locations.

Now since the food is the highlight of the park for guests to sink their teethes into for holidays around the world of World Showcase’s pavilions, here’s what you can expect to try out and sample for the festival this year.

Mexico – Indulge in carnitas tacos and horchata margaritas while mariachi dancers entertain and delight

Holiday Sweets and Treats – This kiosk will be stocked with all the holiday sweets you can handle at the Showcase Plaza

American Holiday Table – Roast turkey and pork tenderloin are just two of the options in this classic American kiosk

Feast of Three Kings – Enjoy food and drink from the Caribbean at this kiosk inspired by the story of the Magi and learn about Three Kings’ Day, El Día De Los Reyes Magos

The Candlelight Processional is a long run tradition at Epcot, in which guests can hear stories about Christmas through a celebrity narrator and accompany by a 50-piece musical orchestra and choir. Some returning and new coming celebrity narrators such as Neil Patrick Harris, Whoopi Goldberg, Warwick Davis, and many more to narrate the season that brings family and friends together. The Processional will be starting this November 24th-December 5th, 2017 at evening times of 5, 6:45, and 8:00 p.m. in the America Gardens Theater by the American pavilion.
