Back in July during the media day for “Christmas in July” at Disney Springs at the Walt Disney World in which Disney officials said of new experiences were coming for the holidays including at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Well in today in which those details have been released by Disney and unfortunately, it’s no return of the Osborne Spectacular Dancing Lights.

Coming towards Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the holidays will be a brand new seasonal event called, “Sunset Seasons Greetings”. As the park turns into night, the whole park will be decorative and festive displays as Sunset Boulevard becomes all lit up including billboards and characters that come to life for their guests to do and see.
The iconic Hollywood Tower of Terror will be have it’s first map projection overlay although, the details are still vague at the moment if inside of the attraction will have any sort of festive or holiday display props in the queue entrance or the hotel lobby part of it.
However though, here’s some Disney character interactions that guests can do when visiting the park that will be offered throughout the whole holiday season.
-Mickey and Minnie reminisce about hometown Christmas as a romanticized, Norman Rockwell-inspired scene changes from black & white to color
-The “Toy Story” characters guess which new toys are joining the group this Christmas as holiday wrapping paper envelops the scene
-The Swedish Chef from The Muppets babbles in front of giant gingerbread houses
-Olaf pines over his holiday wish and iconic music from “Frozen” plays as the scene transforms into a winter wonderland – complete with projected falling snow and dancing Aurora Borealis lights
The event for Sunset Seasons Greetings will take place this upcoming November 9th-December 31st, 2017. For everything Disney Parks & Resorts and all other themed entertainment news, keep checking back at SkywalkingAdventure.com
