During this year’s Star Wars Celebration back in April in Orlando, Florida in which fans of the saga were treated towards a one night and epic after party for the fans at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This will be the future home towards the highly anticipated and upcoming Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge expansion that is currently being built at Disney’s Hollywood Studios opening some point in 2019. This epic event for Star Wars Galactic Nights brings a whole melting pot of your favorite characters, dance parties, fireworks, and even a red carpet towards the entrance of the park.
Since the event grew in popularity and was very successful in which now the event is set to return this coming December 16th, 2017. Just to bring you up to speed and what the event is all about here’s the details down below and guests are encouraged to wear costumes and do follow their costume policies of what to wear and not to wear:
–A Hollywood arrival: Take a stroll down the red carpet on your way into the event.
–Special Star Wars character sightings and greetings: Look out for some of your favorite characters that you may not normally see in the park.
–Rebel Base: Dance the night away at this DJ-hosted party featuring a stunning projection of Yavin Base.
–Celebrity chat/Behind the Magic: Attend an interview with one of the stars from the Star Wars films.
–Park-wide scavenger hunt: Search for the Death Star plans throughout the park and capture your experience to share on social media.
–Dimensional photo backdrops: Feel like you’re in the middle of the action as some of the most iconic Star Wars scenes surround you.
–Special food and merchandise: Treat yourself to galactic-themed bites and special souvenirs.
–Fireworks: End the evening with a nighttime spectacular bursting with memorable Star Wars moments.
Star Wars Galactic Nights will return just after 1 day after the highly anticipated, Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters this coming Winter. Tickets are now available to purchase and book, starting at $129 plus tax and for more information about the event can be read here.
