Concept Art Released And Opening Date For The NBA Experience At Walt Disney World

With the many amounts of delays of the NBA Experience before Disney Quest was going to be taken over and was a matter of questioning of when that was going to be. Well this past summer in which Disney Quest finally closed it’s doors back in July and today in which Disney has officially announced of when the NBA Experience is coming.

Fans of the sport can expect to check and hang out at the experience, this coming Summer 2019 at Disney Springs at Walt Disney World and just in time for when Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge will open too at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The whole design and architectural influence will be basketball arenas across the country that will include the same spirit and the high energy of an entertaining connection towards the NBA in which Disney only can do.

“We are inspired by the design of the new building and the energy that it will bring to the West Side of Disney Springs,” said Senior Vice President of Disney Springs and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex Maribeth Bisienere.”

This will be a state-of-the-art immersive experience that will include interactive games and competitions, a retail store that will be adjacent towards a restaurant.

NBA President, Global Partnerships Sal LaRocca, recently commented on the project, sharing, “This one-of-a-kind experience is sure to be enjoyed by basketball and Disney fans of all ages who visit Disney Springs from around the world.”

Disney also partnered with the Orlando Magic as part of Disney’s jersey sponsorship agreement from this past June. Guests who renew or purchase qualified Walt Disney World annual passes at the Amway Center this year will receive a new Orlando Magic jersey complete with the Disney logo, while promotional supplies last.
