As part of the “12 Days of Disney Parks Christmas” in which we have an update towards Hong Kong Disneyland as part of their multi-year deal expansion through 2023. The Disney Parks worldwide in which they always have the iconic castle as the focal point of the park when you first walk in the park towards the central hub of the area.
Now today in which Disney released details about the under going transformation of the castle at Hong Kong Disneyland to make it not so much similar towards the original Sleeping Beauty Castle where the magic started it all, at Disneyland in California. Disney officially released a new piece of concept art of what the new transformation of the castle would look like and let’s take a look at it.
The classic castle will draw inspiration from a variety of storybook influences and styles, with new thematic spires, domes and a design that reaches ever skyward. Features will be inspired by many of the Disney princesses, including special finial decorations on the spires such as Snow White’s apple, Cinderella’s coach and Belle’s rose. Original artwork and unique sculptures will add even more magic and fantasy.

Earlier this year in which the resort was granted funding of a $1.4 billion dollar expansion from Hong Kong’s Legislative Council to help co-fiance the park that was being reported by Variety. This expansion will include world-class attractions, entertainment, and themed areas that will be brought to life to share the best in characters and stories underneath the Disney brand.
Work on the castle will begin after the finale of the “Disney in the Stars” fireworks on January 1, and the expansion plan will continue to bring new entertainment to the park almost every year through 2023. Local and international guests alike won’t want to miss the exciting new offerings coming soon to Hong Kong Disneyland!
