The long-awaited and popular rumored Voodoo Doughnuts is officially opening its first store, east of the Mississippi at Universal Orlando’s Citywalk this coming Spring 2018. Back in October 2017 and which rumors were circulating around that, (now the former Element Skate Shop store) would be closing and be replaced with Voodoo Doughnut to be added towards the area.
Kenneth “Cat Daddy” Pogson and Tres Shannon created Voodoo Doughnut in Portland, Oregon in 2003 and it became a sensational hit in the West Coast and with also the recent addition of their doughnut store at Universal Studios Hollywood’s CityWalk last year of 2017. The new location for Universal Orlando’s Voodoo Doughnut will be next towards NBC Sports Grill & Brew, opening up for sweet-tooth fans rejoice!
Voodoo Doughnut is known for their crazy and creative pastries that are one-of-a-kind such as: Dirt Doughnut, the Bacon Maple Bar, Grape Ape and the famous Voodoo Doll doughnuts.
No specific announcement date has been released yet for the opening date but, do check out Universal Orlando’s official site to learn more about the new shop for the local Floridian area.
