After many long months and building anticipation for the newest expansion for Toy Story Land coming towards Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World has now an official opening date.
Guests can shrink down and immerse themselves in becoming toy size starting on June 30th, 2018 with the usual AP Previews and soft openings but, those details haven’t been officially confirmed as of right now. You will able to walk into Andy’s Backyard with Woody & Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang as Andy set up his backyard with his imagination and toy kit with all his toys scattered in his backyard as part of this 11-acre expansion.
Also with in addition of Toy Story Land in this newly release piece of concept art shown down below of what the new entrance with Toy Story Mania! will look like, since currently the additional track has been closed down due towards the construction of Toy Story Land. The lines will now act as standby entrance as reported by WDWNT earlier this month and will not offer any FastPass+ reservations for the time being.

Here’s a recap of what you can expect for attractions, themed food, and immersive experiences once Toy Story Land opens up this June 30th, 2018:
–Woody’s Box Lunch: This will be a brand new quick-service restaurant sponsored by Mini Babybel cheese that will be located in the Pixar Place area at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and right around from the Toy Story Mania! attraction. It will offer old fashioned sodas and other fun themed food like you remembered from your childhood.
–Slinky Dog Dash Roller Coaster: Take a thrilling family fun roller coaster for the Slinky Dog Dash Roller Coaster as Slinky stretches himself out with his coils as the coaster will take turns, dips, and dives through out the land in Andy’s backyard from his toy kit he built.
–Toy Story Mania!: This one of the most popular attractions at Disney’s Hollywood Studios as a 3-D shooter attractions from the Midway Games Play Set with interactive and objective targets that guests have to shoot to get a high score. The new entrance will be open up when Toy Story Land is done in the summer of this year.
–Alien Swirling Saucers: The popular little green aliens will be also another attraction part of Toy Story Land as a galactic play set that Andy Won from Pizza Planet. Green aliens will swirl around in their flying saucers with guests in tow in their rocket ships toys, while “The Claw” hangs overhead.
Their will be also another Toy Story Land expansion but, opening in Shanghai Disneyland that will be opening up 2 months prior on April 26th, 2018 as confirmed by Bob Iger (Chairman/CEO of the Walt Disney Company) during a earrings call recently.
