Just moments ago from a panel presentation at Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World and wrapping up some brand new details coming towards Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
One of the MAJOR details of when guests first walk into the 14-acre expansion and in which the panel from the leading Imagineers discussed and was by revealing the official name of the village and will be called, “Black Spire Outpost”. Here’s what the panel had to officially say from tonight’s discussion:

“The largest settlement on the planet Batuu, Black Spire Outpost is an infamous stop for traders, adventurers, and smugglers traveling around the Outer Rim and Wild Space. Off the beaten path, this outpost has become a haven for the galaxy’s most colorful — and notorious — characters. Widely known for the petrified remains of its once towering ancient trees, the spires now stand guard across the river valleys and plains and have long captured the imagination of travelers to this planet.”
Now here’s some other key details that they also mentioned during the panel tonight. Walt Disney Imagineering and Lucasfilm are hard at work and with over 5,000 people working together on this project to bring to life right from the screen.
Between both Disneyland and Walt Disney World for these expansions of where Star Wars was developed in the United Kingdom over at Pinewood Studios and making it all authentic and to live your own Star Wars adventure.
Nien Nunb from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: The Force Awakens will play a bigger role then a minor role when guests visit Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
