Best check underneath you’re bed for clowns…For the first time ever in Halloween Horror Nights history and the one of the most iconic paranormal films from the 1980s of “Poltergeist” is coming towards this year’s event.
Directed by Tobe Hooper and produced by Steven Spielberg, and critically acclaimed as one of the best horror films ever made that was released back in 1982 that made $76.6 million at the domestic box office that weekend. According towards Forbes in which Creative Director and Executive Producer, John Murdy stated back in 2016 for “Poltergeist” and said that-
“I’d love to see the Poltergeist happen, the original in particular. I love that movie. Growing up seeing the clown, in particular, freaked me out.”

Today, in which one of the most iconic IPs in horror genre history, and will be coming towards both Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando and Hollywood this year. Here’s what guests can expect for this film coming towards life at the event-
“The mazes will lure guests to the Freeling family house built atop a cemetery where malicious ghosts threaten the lives within. From the underground graveyard to ghostly apparitions, guests will come face to face with infamous scenes from the film including the iconic flickering TV screen, menacing Beast from beyond and pool filled with floating corpses.”
“As guests cross into the ‘light,’ they will find themselves surrounded by a surreal landscape of vanishing walls, floating furniture and a creepy clown with a menacing smile. In a rush against time, guests will be forced to make it back to the world of the living or forever be trapped…”
This will be the first ever groundbreaking film to ever come towards Halloween Horror Nights and redefined the paranormal and horror genre in which guests will be living through some of the most iconic scenes in the film to be adapted towards authentic-film set quality.
The IP-houses so far announced are Netflix’s Stranger Things as one of their most extremely popular shows to debut and the cult-classic and anthology film of “Trick r’ Treat“.
