Last month the president of the Walt Disney World Resort, George A. Kalogridis officially announced a brand new and upcoming nature themed Disney Vacation Club Resort that will be replacing the former River Country area. As a recap it will be located by Disney’s Wilderness Lodge and Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
Today, the name has been reveled by Disney Parks Chairman, Bob Chapek and will be titled Reflections – A Disney Lakeside Lodge, a deluxe, nature-inspired resort. It will feature more than hotel 900 rooms and proposed Disney Vacation Club villas. This will be the 16th Disney Vacation Club property and bringing more options towards the Disney Vacation Club membership.
No official opening date or time framed was announced for the DVC Lakeside Lodge.
