Fire up the alarms on Ecto-1 and suit up your proton packs because Sony Pictures is bringing the beloved 1984 cult classic, “Ghostbusters” towards this year’s Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.
Recently celebrating it’s 35th anniversary, fans of the original film will experience and live the original film in highlighting some of your favorite scenes like the New York Public Library, the Temple of Gozer and more.

Some things will be lurking in the neighborhood, as you’ll be on the streets of New York as the rift between worlds opens, releasing the ghosts from the film, hideous specters and ectoplasm-dripping phantasms in every shape and size. You will come face-to-face with some of the most iconic characters in the film from; Slimer, the all powerful Gozer the Gozerian, Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man and more.
The original gang and paranormal defenders of New York City of Peter, Ray, Egon and Winston will be saving the day from these paranormal creatures to materialize in unexpected places but, it’s matter of their proton will be enough to save the city?

Universal Orlando is no stranger for “Ghostbusters” and had an opening day attraction that was called “Ghostbusters Spooktacular” back when the park first was opened up.
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort begins on September 6th-November 2nd, 2019 and Universal Studio Hollywood’s Halloween Horror Nights begins on September 13th-November 3rd, 2019.

The event brings together stories and visions from the world’s most notorious creators of fear, from cinematic greats and crazed current cult favorites to the park’s original abominations. You’re never quite sure if your spine is tingling with dread or sheer excitement.
