Previously announced at the D23 Expo 2019 this past summer in which Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman, Bob Chapek shared the news that a brand new day time parade for “Magic Happens” to debut at Disneyland Park in 2020.

Today, Disney have officially announced that the new parade will be debuting on February 28th, 2020 that captures the moments of magic that are the heart of numerous Disney stories. Led by Mickey Mouse himself that will include dazzling and spectacular new parade floats down Main Street U.S.A., new costumes and beloved Disney characters.
“Magic Happens” will also feature an energetic musical score and a new song, co-composed by singer-songwriter Todrick Hall. Featuring classic Disney tunes mixed with a fresh and contemporary style that will also feature artist and musician, Jordan Fisher.
Walt Disney Animation Studios will include some of their several most known films by the studio that will include; “Moana”, the record-breaking hit and newly released “Frozen 2”, Pixar’s “Coco” and “Sleeping Beauty”.
Disney also released brand new concept art for the parade floats for the demi-god, Maui from “Moana” and the new “Frozen 2” float in which can be shown down below:

“Frozen 2” description:
“Anna and Elsa explore the mysteries of an enchanted forest protected by Nokk, the mystical water spirit, as their friends Kristoff, Sven and Olaf tag along.”

Disney’s “Moana” description:
“Joining Moana on her journey is legendary demigod, Maui, making his Disneyland Resort debut on his own magical island, along with Moana’s adorable pet pig, Pua.”
