As it’s been finally reveled for this grand moment that many Disneyland Resort fans have been anticipating as Disney has announced “A Touch of Disney” food and beverage experience that was previously shared by Disneyland Resort President, Ken Potrock. This brand new “limited capacity” event will offer some of that authentic “Disneyifed” food and beverage across from the resort.
This includes characters for guests to see, shop for the latest Disney theme park merchandise and photo ops that cast members will be doing starting on March 18th, 2021. Guests can catch characters such as; Mickey Mouse and see some of his pals, Mater and Lightning McQueen “may be seen” in CarsLand, Joy and Sadness at Pixar Pier.
Both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure will be offering the fan favorites from Mickey pretzels, churros, DOLE-Whips and the classic Monte Cristo sandwich that is normally located in New Orleans Square. The limited experience will be running from March 18th-April 5th, 2021 for the event to give something back to park go’ers since the parks have been closed for near a year now.

The experience will be offering from Thursdays-Mondays at noon till 8pm.
In-park restaurants include will include; Smokejumpers Grill, Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats, Award Wieners, Cocina Cucamonga and much more. Not only just the restaurants will be open and that to give it that Disney experience will be “reimagined” Disney songs for audio loop to be played in the park.

Disney park theme park merchandise of the latest trends and apparel will be open including a new product for “Disney NuiMOs” that will be available to purchase. This includes Buena Vista Street, Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff at Pixar Pier for some sweet treats!
NOTE: Disney attractions will be closed and not in operation due towards the COVID-19 health and safety protocols in place and just be only for the limited experience.
Since this will be a ticketed event and will cost $75.00 USD that includes park admission, parking at the Mickey & Friends parking lot, unlimited PhotoPass downloads. Also, a $25.00 USD ‘”A Touch of Disney” dining card (similar to EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival) for purchase of food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Tickets will be going on sale on March 4th, 2021 for the selected days of the event and will be rolling out on a regular basis till the event ends. Must be purchase on Disneyland’s official site by visiting the link here for full details.

Lamplight Lounge and Carthay Circle Lounge-Alfresco Dining will be opening up table reservations on March 11th, 2021. (Note: Table reservations do not provide admission to A Touch of Disney and dining at those locations requires A Touch of Disney ticket that is valid on the same day as the table reservation. Reservations are recommended, and additional details are coming soon.)
Buena Vista Street will have a “limited opening” as the extension of Downtown Disney District until March 14th, 2021. The following day for March 15th, 2021 will be closed in making preparations for the event of Buena Vista Street being part of it. Downtown Disney District will continue to operate as usual for seven days a week.
Limited capacity will be implemented for the health and safety measures upon guest arrival for the same measures across Disney Parks globally for temperature screenings, social distancing etc.

This news comes in wake after the previous announcement for SoCal theme parks to do their phased reopening with Six Flags Magic Mountain aiming for a projected Spring time frame and hopefully later on for other rest of the major theme parks for the state of California.
