Disneyland Hotel Returns For Reopening To Guests On July 2nd

The Disneyland Resort is still moving ahead for it’s phased reopening as Disney announced for a beloved and classic staple for the return of the Disneyland Hotel! On July 2nd, 2021 the hotel will re welcome it’s guests with limited capacity for this beloved AAA Four Diamond hotel.

Some newly updates were also added to the hotel.

Touches of pixie dust and “hidden” Mickeys meld with the hotel’s mid-century modern design. Initially, the Fantasy Tower will be the first Disneyland Hotel tower to reopen. In all guest rooms, one of my favorite features is the headboard that lights up with fireworks and plays, “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes.” It’s so special! For those wanna book to stay at the Fantasy Tower.

During the closure, the upholstery and fabrics throughout the guest rooms, lobbies and meeting rooms were refreshed and updated. The guest rooms now feature a fun new fireworks pattern in the carpet and upgraded platform beds to help maximize storage. The corridor flooring features new patterns inspired by the art of Mary Blair with graphic elements recalling the park lands each of the towers are named for.

For guests who wanna cool off during a warm Southern California day,  stroll the Disneyland Hotel’s gorgeous grounds, take a cool ride down the Monorail waterslides, swim in themed pools, take a dip in either of the Mickey and Minnie spa whirlpools, relax in a cabana or at the pool bar, or get even more steps in at the fitness center!

Tiki fans will be happy to note that with the reopening up of Disneyland Hotel is also the classic Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar, Tangaroa Terrace Tropical Bar & Grill or the Coffee House.

Upon the reopening up of Paradise Pier Hotel along with the Disneyland Hotel, as Disney encourages for mobile ordering that is added at Tangaroa Terrace and the Coffee House.

For those who need a refresher:

Select restaurants in the Downtown Disney District also provide delivery services. For added convenience, guests of all Disneyland Resort hotels can scan QR codes from their in-room TV to access the links to those restaurants’ delivery webpages and order food and beverages that can be delivered to Disneyland Resort hotel lobbies.

You’ll need both a valid ticket and theme park reservation for the same day and same park to enter the park they want to visit. Theme park reservations need to be made in advance, and they’re limited and subject to availability.

Be sure your hotel confirmation number to view the latest reservation availability for theme parks. Be sure to have a valid ticket to book your theme park reservation. Keep in mind: a hotel reservation does not guarantee theme park access, and you’ll need to link your park tickets to a Disney account to make a separate theme park reservation.

If you do not have an applicable theme park reservation confirmation and a valid ticket, you will not be granted access to the theme parks. Remember that appropriate face coverings are required for all guests ages 2 and older throughout the resort.
