As Walt Disney World Resort is undergoing the massive transformations for the 50th anniversary and so the the on-resort hotels. The next-IP change over will be at the Contemporary Resort for the “Incredibles. ”
Previously as BlogMickey was the first to confirm the news for the change over earlier this year.
Walt Disney Imagineering is continuing to build upon on the optimistic spirit of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. With a retro-modern aesthetic that mimics Tomorrowland for the new changes.
All of the nine floors of guests rooms in the tower are being completely refurbished. They will be all done by this fall. The rooms will have a blend and sleek Monorail motif with some guests favorite characters from the Pixar films. Including Jack-Jack, Frozone and Edna Mode.
Newly custom artwork in each of the guest rooms and along the guest corridors will be modern, futuristic and “stylish”. The resort’s architecture is complements with the changes.
Down at the lobby and where guests can see collection of modern art pieces. As well of historical, behind-the-scenes photographs of Disney’s Contemporary Resort when it was being constructed. The resort’s restaurant, The Wave will also make way for a “reimagined” dining experience.
It will be going down for refurbishment on July 16th, 2021 that was shared previously by WDWMagic. Disney didn’t say when it will be done and said it will be ready for the 50th anniversary.
Back towards the guest rooms, as once they are completed and work will begin on the rooms inside of the Garden Wing out on the shore of Bay Lake. These new changes for Disney’s Contemporary Resort are part of the ongoing evolution plans of the Disney Resorts Collection for the resort.
