As Disneyland Paris is looking ahead to recover since it’s reopening last month, as new changes are rapidly apporaching for the resort. One of the new changes is towards their Fastpass system and will be now a paid option on “selected attractions”. The resort made the announcement on Tuesday with it being called “Disney Premier Access”.

Starting this summer as the system will be introducing charge fees that start at € 8- €15 ($10 to $17 USD) per person, per ride. It also depends when guests visit throughout the time of year as well, prices may vary. Guests can book a time slot for the attraction throughout the day of use. It will still act “somewhat similar” like the current Fastpass system before the paid version is introduced to skip the regular lines. Including a mix of thrill-rides, Disney classics and experiences for the whole family.
For guests that don’t have a smartphone and can also purchase Disney Premier Access at selected locations in the parks.
Disney didn’t share full pricing besides the prices that is mentioned. Shanghai Disneyland already had this system installed for a while.
Here’s what selected attractions will have Disney Premier Access:
- Big Thunder Mountain
- Hyperspace Mountain
- Peter Pan’s Flight
- Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast
- Star Tours
- Autopia
- Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
- Ratatouille: L’Aventure Totally Toquée by Rémy

Furthermore for the traditional FastPass option will be ending, Disneyland Paris will still continue to offer it’s free Standby Pass service. As it will allow guests to spend part of their wait time for selected attractions. It does not guarantee instant access towards an attraction. The service can be turned on throughout certain periods of the day. It is subject to availablity and up towards the day to day park’s discretion.
No confirmation if it will be for it coming to Walt Disney World yet.
