Even though many Disney guests are all ready to go for the fun and spooky Halloween season, as it’s approaching shortly. For those who are however Team Ho-Ho-Ho, as the Disneyland Resort will return back for the holidays. Starting on November 12th, 2021 till January 9th, 2022. It will have plenty of entertainment, yuletide treats, specialty merchandise, sparkling décor and seasonal transformations of select attractions.
So grab yourself some good ol’ fashioned egg nog and a cookie, for what to expect this year!
Disneyland
As a holiday tradition for Sleeping Beauty’s castle will transform into a winter overlay, and a 60-foot tall Christmas tree on Main Street U.S.A. Entertainment is making a comeback, to include “A Christmas Fantasy” parade. In where beloved Disney characters join Santa Claus for a merry musical celebration down Main Street, U.S.A. Don’t forget to wave to Santa as well and guests can see him during your visit. To top off the night, for “Believe … in Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular and magical snowfall over portions of Main Street, U.S.A.

Attractions like “its a small world” will be getting it’s tradtional holiday overlay, and celebrating it’s 20th anniversary for Haunted Mansion Holiday. Hopefully you will be on the nice list for Jack.
Disney California Adventure
Hopping over next door towards Disney California Adventure, will be bringing back also holiday favorites. The Festival of the Holidays as guests can discover the sights, sounds and tastes of a diverse season of celebrations. Including Christmas/Navidad, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and Three Kings Day. Also “Disney ¡Viva Navidad!”, as guests favorite Disney characters will be hosting a fun street party featuring Mexican folklórico dancers and Mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, giant mojiganga puppets. Both Mickey and Minnie Mouse will be in their fiesta attire.

Over at Paradise Gardens, as festive food and beverage will be served, live music and dance, and later in the holiday season. Brand new this year, as Mirabel Madrigal from Walt Disney’s Animation Studios’s upcoming animated film, “Encanto” will make her magical debut. The film is set to be released on November 24th, 2021. More information will be released at a later time for her debut.

Cars Land will be back once again as the four-wheeled friends of Radiator Springs, to celebrate the holidays. From the snow-covered billboard at the entrance all the way to the hubcap-studded tree at the courthouse. Automotive ornaments will be decorated all over Route 66. The two popular attractions, will transform into Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.
Downtown Disney And Resort Hotels
Both Downtown Disney and the on-resort hotels will be spreading holiday joy with decor and carolers. Over at the lobby at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, as the giant gingerbread house is back again. All new details will be added this year for this huge culinary holiday project.
