Happy Launch Day for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Star Wars fans! Since today is the official launch day for the film that today some details were shared today on the Disney Parks Blog that are inspired offerings from the film starting today at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
As mentioned from a couple weeks ago during the Rogue One event of Spaceship Earth becoming the Death Star at Epcot in which some details were shared after the event. Well starting today of one those details are that, the AWR (Advanced Weapons Research) “Deathtroopers” will debut in a new scene for the current stage show of “Star Wars: A Galaxy Far, Far Away” during the day. (Check park map for showtime listings once inside of the park.)

Star Wars Launch Bay are also updated with props, costumes, and footage of the making and behind the scenes look of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Including memorabilia from the film such as a Shoretrooper Blaster, Director Krennic’s Imperial Shuttle, a Death Star model, a U-wing gunship and more.
For anyone visiting the Launch Bay in either Walt Disney World or Disneyland in California and since today is the launch day of the film that fans can grab a free Death Star button from the film (while limited supplies last).

Also on a final note that, starting tonight of the popular map projection/fireworks show of “Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular” makes a return tonight. It will also join the current holiday show of “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” as secondary nighttime fireworks show at the park through December 31st. (Check park map for showtime listings once inside of the park.)
