Now since we cleared the thin air here in which today over at the Disney Parks Blog has announced a new mobile Fastpass booking option for your next visit at the Disneyland Resort. The resort will be a first timer of booking your Fastpasses on your mobile devices since the Walt Disney World Resort has been doing it for a while now. However though, there is one downside towards this new system called “Disney MaxPass” that there will be a $10 dollar upcharge for your return times each day of your Fastpass.
If your annual passholder towards the park that it’s optional to do it daily or a annual basis for the Disney MaxPass system. If your not a annual passholder, don’t worry you won’t be charge for the ten bucks that Fastpasses in the park will be offered as normal at nearby attraction kiosks.
Here’s what two attractions that are long over due as first time that will fall under for the MaxPass/Fastpass system:
“Toy Story Mania in Disney California Adventure park and Matterhorn Bobsleds in Disneyland park! When Disney FASTPASS first launched at Disneyland Resort it was available at four locations, and over the years the number has expanded to a total of 16 attractions with these two new additions.”
The MaxPass will also offer unlimited downloads on your PhotoPass in HD quality depending on what you want and how much your willing to pay for the PhotoPass to create and customize from your Disneyland Resort vacation.
Traditional paper Fastpasses are still are thing for now but, it’s only a matter of time that they will be a thing of the past since the Walt Disney World Resort has the Magicbands and this new system at the Disneyland Resort will soon take over.
As many of you who are annual passholders that you may seem upset because your investing your money’s worth into towards the parks and paying a lot of money for it and maybe the extra ten bucks isn’t worth it for you. While Walt Disney World offers there mobile Fastpasses free and no charge that this story settling in to be a controversial and questioning move on Disney’s behalf for doing this.
