If there isn’t any more of a exciting time for new content happening at the Universal Orlando Resort for this upcoming spring season well then, mark down your calendars for this folks! The late night talk show host of the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on the NBC Channel, in which last night he dropped the bombshell announcement of a official opening date for his attraction which will be Thursday, April 6th, 2017 at the resort!
In addition towards that he will be bringing his show with him from New York towards Orlando at the resort for the taping from April 3rd-6th towards the grand opening of Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon. Fallon was all over the place describing his attraction like talking about details such as interactive smells of New York’s famous pizza, fireworks and a launch towards the moon??… and a giant IMAX screen which we all seen in many Universal Studios attractions.
Universal Orlando’s Blog did confirm of of a virtual waiting queue which will be used later for the resort’s first and third water park of Volcano Bay opening up this Summer 2017 and here’s the details about it for Jimmy’s attraction:
“Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon” will be the first attraction to feature a Virtual Line experience at Universal Studios Florida.”
“You’ll be able to access this new system through The Official Universal Orlando Resort App or at kiosks located outside the attraction entrance. This allows you to virtually wait in line while still enjoying the rest of Universal Studios. When it’s your time, just head back to the attraction, head inside, and get ready for the race of a lifetime.”
For myself I am actually quite excited for what Jimmy has in store since it will be approaching upon soon before you know it! Let’s just all wait and see what Jimmy has in store for us this April 6th and taking a tour through New York and other whereabouts with him.
