At first it may seemed like today was a April Fool’s joke since it’s the first of April but, in this case it’s not and legit information coming out from the Disneyland Resort. The classic nighttime parade of The Main Street Electrical Light Parade is now being extend for two more months instead of it’s “normal” scheduled date for June 18th, 2017.
The parade will now run till August 20th, 2017 in the summer since the parade first returned back towards the resort this past January. With any information about Paint the Night that first debuted for the Disneyland 60th is still quite unsure or clear for it’s return back. Speculation may suggest it “could” return back later this year around the fall and holiday time season for the recently new nighttime parade for Paint the Night.
The parade first began in 1972 till it’s entinal run till 1996 and return back towards the Disneyland Resort as “Disney’s Electrical Parade” at Disney California Adventure from 2001 till 2010. By then it was shipped off towards the Walt Disney World Resort where it ran from 2010-2016 and back home again in 2017 where it all started.
