Soon enough in which the Disneyland Resort will be expand their holiday and seasonal overlays towards their next door neighbor at Disney California Adventure to give them some more holiday loving for their guests to enjoy. This year in which the park will be getting a first Halloween overlay and areas through out the park including the popular Radiator Springs for Cars Land and Buena Vista Street. Most of these announcements were announced at the Disney D23 Expo last month during the Disney Parks & Resorts panel.
These additions that will be brand new this year including the first ever overlay for Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout!, called Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark that opened up back this year in May. Now here’s what you can expect when you visit Disney California Adventure this Halloween season this year.
The residents of Radiator Springs will be officially calling their seasonal event called, “Haul O-Ween”or “Radiator Screams” from Disney/Pixar’s Cars series as Fillmore showcasing his Jack-Oil Lanterns and ghostly folk art, and over by Flo’s V8 Cafe will be a Spider-Car spinning webs all over her restaurant. The two attractions of Luigi’s Rollickin’ Roadsters and Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree will be both transformed as “Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween” and “Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree.” Guests who ride Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree will swing and whirl in tune with two new Halloween themed songs like “Terror-antella” and “Welcome to Radiator Screams.”

Transitioning over towards Buena Vista Street in which a brand new, 10-foot tall Headless Horseman statue from Sleepy Hallow will be raising his jack-o’-lantern towards the sky that haunt over Carthay Circle. Mickey Mouse and his friends will be in specialized Halloween costumes to bring fun and joy towards guests and which Mickey will be dressed up as a bat, Goofy as a ghost, and Daisy Duck as a witch and plenty of more.
