“Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway” is officially heading towards the Disneyland Resort at Mickey’s Toontown. It was rumored for this attraction, as it was first announced that the Big Cheese is coming towards Disney’s Hollywood Studios that replaced the classic “The Great Movie Ride”.

Originally Mickey & Minnie was first intended to be opening up this year at Walt Disney World but, now the new opening up date is Spring 2020. Disneyland’s Mickey & Minnie will be opening up in 2022. This will be the first ever Mickey themed attraction coming towards Disneyland and puts guests into the wacky and whimsical world of the Mickey Mouse cartoon shorts.
The attraction will be utilizing state-of-the-art-technologies and dazzling visual effects in transforming the cartoon world, with an immersive multi-dimensional experience. As Disney is calling this experience a “2 1/2 dimensional” type of attraction.
