The takeover of the former Jurassic Park now Jurassic World attraction is set to open up any day now over at Universal Studios Hollywood. With the rebrand of the attraction, Universal Studios has also confirmed some of the most recognizable faces of the cast from the film franchise.
Chris Pratt (Owen Grady), Bryce Dallas Howard (Claire Dearing), and BD Wong (Dr. Wu) will be reprising their roles for the upcoming attraction opening up this Summer 2019. This will be the first them for them to be featured in a theme park attraction, as guests go through this modern update of the attraction.

Owen, Claire, and Dr. Wu will be telling guests about their personal interactions with dinosaurs with facts and information about these amazing prehistoric creatures that used walk the earth millions of years ago. Some of the most recognizable dinosaurs to be featured will be the Indominus Rex and the aqua tactic dinosaur, the Mosasaurus in her tank habitat.
The Mosasarus will be the first for this attraction in her massive Aquarium Observatory expanding over 60 feet long and scales over 30,000 pounds with the best in visual effects in her glass enclosed tank, filled with 3.5 million gallons of water.

Universal Creative is partnering with Industrial Light & Magic (ILM) as the industry’s leading special FX company to bring the Mosasarus to life. Capturing her realism in a underwater environment with spectacular visual effects and cutting-edge technologies. This will also include the use of motion parallax, a technique that shifts the guest’s perspective of the Mosasaurus as she moves throughout the tank.
Both teams have developed a series of lighting enchantments that allows the aquarium to shift from day to night, and visual changes towards the environment during inclement weather. Giving it a guest experience of many scenarios when guests experience the attraction and seeing the Mosasrus face to face.
Jurassic World: The Ride is set to open up this Summer 2019, no opening date released yet and details will be posted when their is an official opening date at Universal Studios Hollywood.
