As bit of surprising news today and Disney has officially announced the opening dates for the highly anticipated attraction at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, for Rise of the Resistance!
Walt Disney World will be getting it first and right on Walt Disney’s birthday, on December 5th, 2019 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Galaxy’s Edge at the park will open up on August, 29th, 2019

California opened up Black Spire Outpost first back in May of this year and some good news for the Disneyland locals, in which Rise of the Resistance will open up on Friday, January 17th, 2020.
Here’s how Disney is describing the attraction in more detail:
“Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will blur the lines between fantasy and reality and will put guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the First Order and the Resistance. Guests will be recruited to join Rey and General Organa at a secret base. Along the way, they will be captured by a First Order Star Destroyer. With the help of some heroes of the Resistance, they break out and must escape the Star Destroyer, protect the secret base, and stay one step ahead of Kylo Ren.”

This will the highly immersive and advanced attraction that Disney and Lucasfilm Ltd., has ever created, that will be utilizing a multi-platform system.
