As you suit up and prepare for the grand opening of the Avengers Campus on July 18th, 2020 coming to Disney California Adventure as one of the attractions at the campus will be called “WEB Slingers”, as a brand-new and high action packed adventure with your friendly neighboorhood web-head of Spider-Man! Guests will be putting their web slinging skills towards the test and helping out Spider-Man for his adventure.
Worldwide Engineering Brigade (WEB) in where Tony Stark assembled Peter Parker as one of the youngest and brilliant innovators to invent brand new technologies to equip everyday people in becoming Super Heroes. WEB will be housing new WEB Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure done by Disney for this high packed attraction.
Guests will team up with Spidey to help capture the Spider-Bots before they create havoc within the campus. During the open house of WEB, as the attraction will be utilizing 3D glasses and test drive Tony and Peter’s latest invention of the “WEB Slinger Vehicle” in allowing slinging webs like Spidey.
This will be a family-friendly attraction that will blend virtual and physical environments together, leveraging specially designed, innovative technology that detects body movements and gestures. You will able to reach out with your hands and wrists to shoot webs just like Peter Parker. Disney also confirmed their will be no height requirement needed to ride the attraction!
A big surprise however is that, from the Marvel Cinematic Universe as actor Tom Holland who plays the current Spider-Man will be reprising his role for the WEB Slingers attraction!
