2023 is going to be massive year for The Walt Disney Company in celebrating their centennial celebration, as previously Disney announced for what is coming towards the United States and domestic Disney Parks.
As additional news and details for the Disney100 celebration at Disneyland Resort will be shared ahead of the debut on January 27, 2023 of where it be kicking off. Also Walt Disney Animation Studios is teaming with Toronto-based Lighthouse Immersive Studios to develop Disney Animation: Immersive Experience, a traveling experience of Disney animation which will world premiere in Toronto this December before heading across the U.S. and other territories in 2023.
But the question remains for what is Europe and the United Kingdom going to be doing the Disney 100th celebration? Well glad you asked! Earlier this evening at a presentation gala over at the famous Banking Hall in London shared a handful of announcements and here’s what fellow visitors and locals can expect overseas!
Disney 100: The Concert
Disney 100 “The Concert” will feature a full on live orchestra performing the most iconic music from Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel and more will tour Europe in 2023, including a stop at the London 02 Arena on June 4th and Paris November 11th-12th. United Kingdom ticket sales go on sale tomorrow (October 28th) at the time of this publishing, even making a stop in Leeds, United Kingdom as another location
Disney 100: The Exhibition
After debuting in Munich, Germany for it’s European debut in April 2023 as the” Disney100 Exhibition” will be touring towards more cities and will be coming towards London in Fall 2023.
Disney’s Wonder of Friendship
“Disney’s Wonder of Friendship”, as a Disney100 experience will open May to October 2023 across the U.K., France, Germany, Spain and more. 1,000 square meters of experiences and installations across 4 rooms, including Alice in Wonderland, Lilo & Stitch, Lion King and Mickey & Friends.
Disneyland Paris Resort
The biggest international European tourism destination for Disneyland Paris was announced for finally taking place on October 16th, 2023! It will have a special slate of entertainment and surprises at the parks. Also note that other smaller events and celebrations will also take place at the Resort before and after October 16th. A special moment will also take place during this year’s New Years Eve Party to kick off the year!
