At the D23 Expo back in September this year as it was shared from Disney that Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway to debut on January 27th, 2023. Now some more TOONful details were released from Disney as the rest of Mickey’s ToonTown will reopen up towards all guests at Disneyland Park on March 8th, 2023! This will be a refreshed area with a vibrant symphony of sights, sounds and sensations, for all families to enjoy together. As all of this will be part of the Disney100 celebrations for Disneyland Resort on January 27th.
One of the new areas for Mickey’s ToonTown will be “Goofy’s How-To-Play Yard” as shown in the artist concept rendering down below. Dedicated to all things play, Goofy’s How-To-Play Yard incorporates a whimsical sound garden where kids will discover new ways to make wacky noises, as well as enjoy an all-new, elevated clubhouse.
Another new attraction will also be the upcoming debut for “Chip ‘n’ Dale’s GADGETcoaster“, where Mickey’s Toontown’s favorite tinkerer, Gadget Hackwrench, has created a one-of-a-kind, fun-sized coaster for the town’s tiniest citizens. As will be one “nutty” type of roller coaster fit for the whole family.
Mickey’s House and Minnie’s House, as guests will once again be able to step right into their homes and enjoy a self-guided tour as you discover special surprises in every room. You may even be able to visit with Mickey and Minnie while you’re there, should they be home. For you fellow Roger and Jessica Rabbit fans out there, as don’t worry “Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin” will still remain of the updated area for Mickey’s ToonTown.
For you fellow foodies out there as Café Daisy, where acclaimed culinary expert, Daisy Duck, serves up diner classics at her sidewalk table eatery. And the Toontown Farmers Market at Good Boy! Grocers, a friendly roadside stand, offering grab-and-go drinks and treats.
