“Danny is not here Mrs. Torrance…” and that line you may recognize from Stephen King’s novelization and adaptation by Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining” from the 1980 horror flick starring Jack Nicholson. “The Shining” had been demanded for quite a while by fans towards the popular and ultimate Halloween event at the Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.
The IP will be joining the first announcement of the rest of the seasons of the other popular television series of, American Horror Story on FX of Asylum, Coven, and Roanoke for Halloween Horror Nights 2017 that was announced back in March.
The long awaited announcement for “The Shining” was accidentally leaked out several weeks ago by Universal Travel Agents on their official site and posted a bit early and then immediately removed after.
Guests will go through the horror and terror and trying to escape Jack Torrance’s delusional mind of the Overlook Hotel as they try to escape the maze before a lot REDRUM! will happen. As guests adventure through the mystery and gruesome history of the hotel’s past of twisted madness and a murder spree in avoiding Mr. Torrance’s presence and hopefully not encountering the twins too.
Check out the teaser trailer down below and Halloween Horror Nights at the Universal Orlando Resort will return for a new record 34 selected-nights running from September 15th-November 4th, 2017 and selected dates for Universal Studios Hollywood too.
