Preparation is under way for the transformation of the year of Pixar at Disney California Adventure from the former Paradise Pier towards Pixar Pier and also next door at Disneyland too. So far we know that the Pier will have themed neighborhoods towards beloved Pixar films that is cherished by many fans of the animation company that is set to open this coming June 23rd, 2018.
Now let’s break down of you can expect from both parks this summer by first starting off with “Pixar Fest” at Disneyland first. “Pixar Fest” will begin next month, starting on April 13th, 2018 (Friday the 13th) and will end of September 3rd, 2018 with a brand new fireworks show called “Together Forever: A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” that is highly anticipated and being described by Disney as “a heartwarming story that celebrates the theme of friendship, an ever-present concept in Pixar animation, connecting guests with characters they’ve come to know and love.”
With the addition of the return of the highly-popular nighttime parade from the Disneyland 60th anniversary of “Paint the Night” with the addition of a “The Incredibles” nighttime parade float. Previously in which a rumor was taking notice for the brand new Pixar fireworks nighttime spectacular that Carl’s house from Pixar’s “UP!” would be part of the show as a practical set or prop.
As many other sites are reporting now, in which originally rumor is now confirmed and Carl Fredricksen’s house will be part of the nighttime show at Walt’s original Magic Kingdom at Disneyland. Check out the image down below and also the Oscar-award winning for best animation feature for Pixar’s “Coco” will have a sequence as being part of the map projections on Sleeping Beauty’s Castle.

Now jumping over towards Disney California Adventure where the permanent take over for Pixar Pier is still under construction and set to be open this coming June 23rd, 2018. As know so far this will be showcasing the different Pixar themed neighborhoods based on fan-favorite Pixar films that fans recognize ranging from Toy Story, Inside Out, The Incredibles and more!
For attractions wise will be the take over of the former California Screamin’ towards now “The Incredicoaster” with many more you can expect and even the current and popular Toy Story Mania!, 3-D shooter attraction. Today, we have some new details in which Disney officially released this new concept art for Jessie’s Critter Carousel that will be re-themed of the former King Trition’s Carousel and Jessie’s Critter Carousel is inspired from the second “Toy Story” film that was featured from “Woody’s Roundup television show.
As a quick clarification in which Jessie’s Critter Carousel will NOT be an opening day attraction for Pixar Pier and will be opening later on in 2019.

Now if your hungry and want to to get a bite to eat at Pixar Pier in which was previously announced that the Lamplight Lounge (former Cove Bar) that will be served as a California gastro-pub and to be served with signature cocktails and giving you those seaside views of Pixar Pier illuminated in the nighttime and “World of Color” too. (Lobster Nachos will still continued being served as well!!)
During the Pixar media preview over the weekend and we also got more details and additions for quick-service themed restaurants that will be ranging from different Pixar characters from Pixar’s best animated films, and these will probably make your mouth too from the images shown down below.

In the “Toy Story” neighborhood area of Pixar Pier will Señor Buzz Lightyear getting his own personal Churro Cart which was a great comedy gag reference from the third “Toy Story” film when his voice box switched from English to Spanish.

Everyone’s favorite and well…Abominable now “Adorable” Snowman from Pixar’s “Monsters Inc” will be serving his dream come true of frozen treats and snow-cones too and does promise that they will be lemon-flavored too in which the stand will be called Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats.

Poultry Place will serve as a take-out stand from the “Toy Story” short-film, “Small Fry” in which Woody and rest of the gang meets a group of Fun Meal toys. It was also confirmed that Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff Confectionery, that was released in some of the early concept art will still be part of the Pixar Pier.

Try not to freak out and get angry if your order becomes wrong and this quick-service stand from the emotions of Pixar’s “Inside Out” with the emotion of Angry and will serving and variety of hot dogs and spiciness as this stand will be opening up some point in the future.
Pixar is taking over this year the Disney Parks between California and Florida with Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios that is also scheduled to open up this Summer too.
